NIRD&PR is a premier Institute providing training, research and consultancy activities in the field of rural development.

The Institute proposes to engage services of qualified and experienced persons on a short term contract basis for the positions as detailed below.

Title of the Project:

Preparation of Comprehensive District Agricultural Plan (C-DAP) and State Agricultural Plan (SAP) for the State of Arunachal Pradesh

Consultant

5.	Educational Qualification	Essential: •V Post Graduate/Ph.D in Agriculture and Allied Subjects/Economics/ Statistics
6.	Experience	Essential • 5 Years (for PG)/ 2 Years (for Ph.D) Working Experience
7.	Other Qualifications	• Knowledge of Computer- MS Office • Knowledge of reading and writing in English.
8.	Age Limit	Maximum 63 years
9.	Remuneration	Rs.40,000 (Rs. Forty thousand only) per month

Research Assistant

1.	Designation	Research Assistant

3.	No. of Positions	Ten (UR-06, OBC-02, EWS-01 & SC-01)
4.	Duration	9 months
5.	Educational Qualifications	Essential • Post Graduate in Agriculture and Allied Subjects/Social Science/ MBA/ Statistics
6.	Experience	Essential: • Two years of experience in action research at field level.
7.	Other Qualifications	• Knowledge of Computer- MS Office. SPSS/ Stata Statistical Package. •B Knowledge of reading and writing in English.
8.	Age Limit	Maximum 35 years
9.	Remuneration	Rs.22,000 (Rs. Twenty two thousand only) per month

General conditions: NIRDPR Recruitment Consultant and Research Assistant

1. An application fee of Rs.300/- plus applicable taxes should be paid by General/OBC/EWS candidates through Pay Fee (SB Collect). No application fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
2. Candidate seeking exemption of application fee under SC/ST/PWD category shall require to upload the necessary Caste/PWD category certificate. Otherwise the application is liable to be rejected.
3. The selected candidates have to be stationed at NIRDPR-NERC Guwahati but require extensive travel to the study areas Arunachal Pradesh.
4. The candidates should apply through online registration available on the website http://career.nirdpr.in/
5. The offered assignment is purely on contractual basis and does not envisage any form of regular appointment at NIRDPR in future.
6. Age, experience and qualification will be reckoned as on the date of this notification i.e, 03.11.2024. Clear quality attested photostats copies of all important certificates and documents must be uploaded with the online application.
7. In case of retired employees, the remuneration will be regulated as per Government of India, Ministry of Finance OM NO. F.No.3-25/2020-E.IIIA, dt.9.12.2020 issued for regulation of Remuneration in case of Contractual appointment of retired Central Government Employees, ie., Basic Pay at the time of retirement minus Pension.
8. The Institute reserves the right to relax any of the requirements i.e. age, experience etc. in exceptional cases.
9. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the minimum essential qualification laid down in the advertisement.
10. In case of large number of applications, the Institute may shortlist the candidates as may be necessary.
11. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.

14. Date, time and venue of written test/interviews shall be communicated to shortlisted candidates only.
15. Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for written test/interview or both as applicable and no TA/DA will be given for attending the written test/Interview.
