Newcastle University Overseas Research Scholarship 2022/23. Newcastle University is committed to offering support to the very best international students hoping to pursue a programme of research in any field.
Your application will only be considered if you answer all relevant sections fully and attach copies of any requested documentation. Please read the Scholarship Regulations before applying (these can be found on the NUORS web-page). This scholarship is for international students pursuing PhD courses only, Master’s courses are not eligible.
Please note – You must already have applied for a PhD course starting in the 2022/23 academic year (September 2022 – August 2023) and received an offer of a place of study before applying for this scholarship. Your application will not be considered without an offer of study.
The deadline for receipt of this application is 22nd April 2022, application forms received following this date will not be accepted.
Your PhD course must begin between September 2022 – May 2023 (the 2022/23 academic year).
If your course does not begin between these dates, you are not eligible to apply for the NUORS award and your application will not be accepted.
If you have not already applied for and received an offer of study for a PhD course starting in 2022/23 – your scholarship application will not be accepted/considered.
You must apply for a PhD and have received an official offer of a place of study prior to applying for this scholarship. This will come in the form of an email detailing your course, tuition fees, course dates etc. and begin with the phrase ‘I am pleased to confirm that your application to study at Newcastle University has been successful.’
