In reference to the earlier notice (Memo No.- MU(R)/21/D/252/25 dated 08/04/2025), inviting applications for engagement as Guest Teachers in various departments of Murshidabad University, it is hereby notified
for all concerned that the last date for online submission of applications has been extended to 19/04/2025 (Midnight).
All other terms and conditions mentioned in the original notification shall remain unchanged.

Murshidabad University Recruitment 2025 Guest Teachers post
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Guest Teachers in the following Departments of Murshidabad University: Economics, Geography, Law, Mathematics, Physics, Physiology, Political Science, Sanskrit, Sericulture, and Zoology.
Essential Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum 55% marks (Relaxation as per Govt. Rules) and NET/SET in the relevant Subject.
Desirable Qualifications:
Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
Experience in curriculum development in the relevant subject.
Job Responsibilities:
Teaching courses in the respective department (offline mode).
Conducting student assessments and seminars.
Engaging in other academic activities of the department.
Remuneration:
As per the existing norms.

Note: There is no requirement to submit a hard copy of the application form.
The initial engagement will be for a period of six months and may be renewed, subject to the satisfactory performance of the candidate.
The selection process will be in accordance with the reservation policy of the Government of West Bengal.
Merely fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call for interview.
Shortlisting of candidates will be based on the criteria determined by the University’s selection committee.
This engagement is purely temporary, and candidates shall have no claim or entitlement to permanent employment at Murshidabad University under any circumstances.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
