About the Department

The department has been offering MBA programme from the academic session 2008-09. The programme is built on the foundations of activity based learning model.

Participants in this programme will experience a challenging developmental process which builds character, competency and confidence; and fosters the understanding of business with sound judgment.

The programme offers an integrated set of skills from the fundamental functional areas within all business to the practical methods of analysis and execution of decision-making to gaining strategic perspective and delivering recommendations.

The department offers specialization in four disciplines – Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, and Small Business & Entrepreneurship Development.

MZU Application Form :

MZU application forms are available and to be submitted online only at http://www.mzu.edu.in (link will be activated soon)and by making a payment of Rs.700/- (Rs. 350/- for SC/ST) which is payable through Online Mode.

Eligibility :

Graduate with 50% marks (SC/ST/OBC 45%)

Intake : 35 (Reservations as per the University norms) + 4 EWS + 4 NRI / Foreign (For SAARC countries fees will be at par with Indian )

Admission Procedure & Selection :

Two separate application forms (CUET as well as MZU form) are required to be filled in and submitted by the candidate. Candidates are selected on the basis of their score on CUET followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Placement/Summer Training :

The department has a full fledged placement cell which makes all out efforts in establishing fruitful linkages with corporate houses. Prominent corporate houses who offered summer training are Powergrid, Airtel, ITC, Nesle, Jaiprakash Nippon Seiki, Standard Chartered, United Bank of India, IFFCO,HPCL, ING Life, TATA AIG,Hindustan Paper, SBI, NEDFI, Bajaj, Indian Oil, Cholamandalam etc.
