Applicants are advised to:

2) Fill it up properly.
3) Pay the requisite fees of Rs. 500/- online using the payment link (Ph.D Application Fees)
4) Scan your Application Form, the Payment receipt and all supporting documents as a single pdf file.
5) Send the single pdf file to the Email id: ([email protected])
6) The Hard Copy of your Application Form, payment receipt and all supporting documents (self attested) must reach the college office within the scheduled date.

Eligibility criteria for application:
A person who has obtained Master Degree or a degree deemed equivalent from any University or Institution recognized by UGC, with a minimum of 55% (Unreserved Category)or 50% (Reserved Categories) marks at the PG level is obtained is eligible for admission, provided that:
i) The candidate has completed at least a total of 5years in UG and PG study in recognized institute or University.
ii) The candidate is not currently admitted as a student in any full-time course of studies or registered for pursuing Ph.D. in any University.
iii) A candidate with regular M. Phil (Completed before 2023) or candidates who qualified at the UGC-JRF/NET/SET or any other examination considered as equivalent, or candidates who qualified the Vidyasagar University RET, 2023-24 are eligible to appear at the interview.
iv) Final semester PG students are also eligible to apply for the PhD programme provided they have fulfilled the aforesaid requirements on or before the interview date.
Important Note:
A student registered under the Research Centre of the college will be awarded the Ph.D degree by Vidyasagar University, West Bengal, India.
