Online Applications are invited from eligible Academic Pay Level -10 (Rs. 57,700.00 to 1,82,400.00) Matrix, in various Departments of the University. UGC Minimum Qualification for Appointment of Teachers and others Academic Staff in the Universities and Colleges and other Education Regulation 2018 Commission (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Education), 2021 dated 11th October, 2021. the University website www.kunainital.ac.in from 07-01-2022 onwards.

Qualifications:

1. Criminology :- Master Degree in Criminology/ Law and NET/SET/Ph.D. in the relevant field. Himalayan Medicinal Plants and Nanotechnology Nanomedicine/ Ethnobotany/ Pharmacognosy/ relevant field.

2. Centre for Excellence In Himalayan Medicinal Plant Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ NET/SET/Ph.D. in the relevant field.

3. Forensic Science :- Forensic Science Molecular Biology/ Biomedical Science Pharmaceutical Chemistry and NET/SET/Ph.D. in the relevant field. B. E. / B. Tech. / B. S. and M.E. / M. Tech. / M. S. or Integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees. OR B. E., B. Tech. and MCA with First Class or equivalent in any one of the two degrees.

4. Computer Application* – B. E. / B. Tech. / B. S. and M.E. / M. Tech. / M. S. or Integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.

OR

B. E., B. Tech. and MCA with First Class or equivalent in any one of the two degrees.

Graduation of three years’ duration with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and MCA with First Class or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience after acquiring degree of MCA

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1. All applicants are required to apply online in the prescribed format with complete, correct information and attachments. The applicant will be solely responsible for the authenticity of the submitted information.

3. 5. The reservation for applicant from SC, ST, EWS, OBC (non-creamy layer) and PwD categories will be applicable as per Uttarakhand state government norms. Applicants seeking reservation benefits available for SC/ST/EWS/OBC/PwD categories must uploaded the necessary documents justifying the clam of respective reservation as per norms. The certificate uploaded should be in the format prescribed by the government and should be digitally verifiable.

6. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease, depending upon the availability at the time of selection.

7. Candidates must send self-attested copies of testimonials, mark-sheets from matriculation (10th Standard) onwards in support of qualifications, reprints of publications and certificates in support of their research score claimed for the post and experience certificate along with the application form.

8. The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill any of/all the vacancies notified above at any time without giving any reason. Any consequential vacancies arising at the time of interview may also be filled up from the available candidates. The University may, at its discretion, fill up any future vacancy belonging to UR/EWS/SC/ST/OBC as per the roster point of the University. The number of positions is thus open to change.

9. The applications received shall be screened as per screening guidelines attached with this advertisement for short listing and recommending the applicants to be called for interview.

10. Incomplete applications will not be considered and will be rejected.

11. Application fee is exempted due to Covid-19 situation only for this time.

12. Any consequential vacancies arising at the time of Interview may also be filled up from the available screened candidates.

13. The University will verify the antecedents of the applicant at the time of appointment or anytime during the tenure of the service. In case it is found that the documents/information submitted by the candidate is false or the candidate has suppressed relevant information, the services of the candidate shall be terminated without prejudice to any other action initiated by the University.

15. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issuance of offer letter, the University reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel the same without any communication made to the candidate.

16. The last date for accepting the completely filled up application forms along with the enclosures in the office of Registrar, Kumaun University, Nainital, Sleepy Hollow, Mallital, Nainital (Uttarakhand)-263002 via registered post/speed post is on 12th February, 2022 at 4.00 pm.

17. No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for attending interview. 18. The university reserves the right to revise/reschedule/cancel/suspend the recruitment process without assigning any reason. The decision of the University shall be final and no appeal in this regard shall be entertained.

19. Applicants who have been awarded Ph.D. from foreign university should enclose “Equivalence Certificate” issued by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, without which their candidature will not be considered and application be summarily be rejected.

19. Publications under submission or submitted to refrees will not be considered towards calculation of marks for publication criteria. Further, all the items for which marks are claimed should be strictly in accordance with the screening guidelines attached with the advertisement.

20. Any dispute regarding the recruitment will fall under the jurisdiction of courts of law at Nainital (Uttarakhand).
