INTRODUCTION

COVID 19 pandemic has wreaked havoc throughout the world adversely affecting all the sectors and the worst affected is the education sector. To curb COVID 19 educational institutions are closed for prolonged period which has profoundly affected the students.

Closing universities and cancelling classes have created anxiety and uncertainty with regard to the career of the students .According to UNESCO report more than 157 crore students across 191 countries severely impacted by the closure of the educational institutions. Amidst this pestilence the educational institutions have switched over to blended mode of learning.

There has been a rising demand of e learning and virtual learning to cater the needs of the students. Against this backdrop an International Multidisciplinary Webinar on “Impact of COVID 19 on Higher Education System” has been jointly organised by International Benevolent Research Foundation (IBRF), Kolkata; Govt. Kamla Raja Girls Post Graduate (Autonomous) College, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh and Confederation of Indian Universities (CIU), New Delhi on 6th, 7th and 8th August 2021 through Google Meet.

The three days webinar would comprise of paper presentations in oral as well in poster mode, lectures by eminent educationists and discussions. Students, Research scholars, Scientists, Academicians are requested to send abstracts on the mentioned themes.

THEMES & SUB THEMES

The theme of this International Multidisciplinary Webinar is “Impact of COVID 19 on Higher Education System”.

Academicians, faculties, Scientists, Students and Research Scholars are cordially invited to attend the webinar through Google meet and send their abstracts strictly adhering to the subthemes mentioned below:

  1. Quality of teaching and research in COVID 19 lockdown
  2. Challenges faced by students in COVID 19 outbreak
  3. Blended mode of learning in the era of COVID 19
  4. Pedagogies to support students during COVID 19 lockdown
  5. Impact of COVID 19 pandemic on global education sector
  6. Rise of e learning, virtual learning and distance education during COVID 19 lockdown

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Any author can send more than one abstract individually / jointly. Abstracts must all be submitted in English. The number of abstracts per presenting author is limited to one in each theme. Both abstracts of oral and poster presentations will appear in the book of abstracts at the time of Conference.

The abstract(s) should not have more than 400 words and should be sent as email attachment to: [email protected] Any author can send more than one abstract individually / jointly. Abstracts

(i) Abstracts must be submitted electronically via Email: [email protected]
(ii) Abstracts should be data oriented reflecting the major findings of the paper.
(iii) All abstracts will be reviewed by panel of experts and will be selected either for oral or poster presentation.
(iv) At least one author should register by paying the required registration fee. Only registered participants will be allowed to attend the Conference.
(v) The title of the paper centered aligned (Font Size- 14, Style- Times New Roman Bold).
(vi) Name of the author(s) centered in bold letters (Font Size- 12, Style- Times New Roman Italic).
(vii) The author(s) should clearly mention their name, affiliation, contact number and e-mail. The name of the corresponding and presenting authors should be specifically mentioned (Font Size- 12, Style- Times New Roman Normal).
(viii) Keywords (3-5), avoiding duplication with the title.

*Paper Presentation Certificate will be issued to all the registered delegates who will send the Abstract/ (s).
**Participation Certificate will be issued to all the registered delegates.
