About The Conference
Covid-19 has affected businesses and economies throughout the world. It has increased risks on the one hand, but at the same time, generated new avenues for addressing structural problems and techniques for better reconstruction.
The pandemic has highlighted the need and vitality of migrant labourers, problems related to healthcare, agricultural sector, education, industry and the overall business environment.
The unprecedented pandemic that caused havoc in all parts of the globe has exposed the vulnerability of the different sectors at the national and global levels.
It is therefore, time to think about the ways and strategies that can be taken so that we are in a position to mitigate the adverse situation that the world has endured during the last three years.
This conference, therefore provides a platform for experts and researchers to come together and highlight various pertinent challenges and provide possible solutions to the problems. The organizers welcome you all to PCCBE-2023.
About The Department
Vidyasagar University is a reputed University in the Eastern region of India which started its academic activities in 1985.
The Department of Commerce is among the oldest in the university which has been imparting higher education for more than three decades. At present, the department offers M.Com. and Ph.D degrees.
Presently, it has seven full time faculty members, each of whom have a Doctoral degree. The department regularly publishes its annual journal, “Vidyasagar University Journal of Commerce” bearing ISSN 0973-5917 which is indexed with Calefactory.org and EBSCO.
The 27th volume will be released very soon. The department has already conducted three research methodology workshops. This year it will organize the twenty seventh annual conference.

Who Can Attend The Event?
The event is open to academicians, research scholars, students, professionals, corporate representatives from banks, insurance companies, MFIs etc.
