Educational Qualification:
Postgraduate, holding First Class in both BLIS (Bachelor of Library and Information Science) and MLIS (Master of Library and Information Science).
Age Limit: Not more than 30 years
Stipend :
Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) per month. An undertaking will be taken from the trainees at the time of joining to the effect that the entire stipend amount will be refunded back if trainee wants to leave before completion of the training period along with other terms and conditions.
Period of Training: 12 months
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Reservation as per Government of India norms.
2. Degree as referred above should have been awarded by a recognized University/Institute.
3. All documents/testimonials regarding qualification must be uploaded while submitting online application without password protected. Documents uploaded with password protected will not be considered and his/her application may be rejected.
4. The candidate applying for the post should ensure that, fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the post. Admission to any stage of the selection process will be purely provisional subject to confirmation that candidate satisfies the prescribed eligibility criteria.
5. Candidates should upload their valid SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format along with the application form, in support of their claim. OBC-NCL/EWS certificate should be issued on or after 01.04.2023 in the prescribed format.
6. Eligibility of a candidate and satisfaction of any other Short-listing criteria shall be considered as on the last date of the submission of online application i.e. 30.04.2023.
7. Application fee should be paid through online portal (SBI Net Banking/Other Banks Net Banking/All Banks Credit Cards (Retail)/Rupay Debit Cards). Application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) is required for UR/EWS candidates and Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred fifty only) is required for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates. The fee(s) paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee(s) be held in reserve for any other application or examination or selection.
8. Candidates are advised to mention their correct and active e-mail address in the application, as all the correspondences like issuance of call letter or any other information will be communicated through e-mail only.
