Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow in DST-SERB sponsored project
Applications are invited for a post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the R&D project titled “Non-equilibrium kinetics of chaperone molecules in protein folding” sanctioned by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India.
The JRF will be initially appointed for a period of one year and may be extended for a maximum of three years depending on performance, which will be evaluated at the completion of each year. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Salary:
The salary of Junior Research Fellow may be fixed at a consolidated amount of 31,000 INR + HRA for the first two years. In the third year, the candidate will receive a consolidated amount of 35,000+ HRA. See the table for the details.

Eligibility:
Motivated candidates with MSc (Physics) or M. Tech in Computational Biology/Biotechnology/Bioengineering or in any other relevant discipline. The candidate should have a consistently good academic record.
