Notification for Invitation of Applications for filling up the post of Conservator of Forest (CF) and Deputy Conservator of Forest (CF) on deputation basis in Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), Dehradun and its institutes.
The Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education is an Autonomous Council of the Ministry of Environment Forests & Climate Change, Government of India, with its Institutes at Dehradun, Jabalpur, Bengaluru, Jorhat, Jodhpur, Coimbatore, Shimla, Ranchi, and Hyderabad.

The following posts in the ICFRE’s Institutes and centres are available for filling up on deputation basis at the level of Conservator of Forests (CF) and Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF). The posts of CF are to be filled up through IPS officers in the Level 13 and 13A of 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) in the Level 14 of Pay Matrix may also apply for the post.
In case of selection of CCF against CF level, the pay shall be protected and the position shall be deemed to be supernumerary of the level of CCF till it is held by a CCF level officer.
The post of DCF are to be filled up through officers of Indian Forests Service/State Forest Service in the Levels 10, 11, 12 and 13 de the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

IFS/SFS officers who are willing to be considered for appointment on deputation against these vacancies with liability to serve anywhere in India under the Council, are requested to send their applications through proper channel to the Secretary, Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education, P.O. New Forest, Dehra Dun – 248006.
The application should be received by the Secretary, ICFRE on or before 30.05.2022 in the enclosed proforma & requisite non-refundable fee of Rs. 500/- in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Accounts Officer, ICFRE and payable at Dehra Dun.
The State/UT Governments are requested to send the Confidential Reports for the last five years (2017-18 to 2021-22) and vigilance clearance in respect of willing officers, while forwarding their applications.
The tenure of All Indian Service Officer will be governed in accordance with the provisions under prevalent rules in this regard.
The officer on appointment on deputation to the council would get pay and allowances per prevalent rules.
The Council reserve the right not to fill all or any of the vacancies advertised and also reserves the right to increase or decrease the vacancies mentioned in aforesaid table, if the circumstances so warrant.
The officer who had applied for the post of DCF against this office advertisement No. 32-20/2021-ICFRE dated 23.08.2021 and 08.10.2021 need not to apply afresh.
In exception circumstances, Director General, ICFRE reserves the right to relax the closing date for receiving applications.
