Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the minimum essential
qualifications and experience, if any, laid down in the advertisement. Candidature/ appointment is liable to be
terminated at any stage if it is noticed that minimum essential qualification is not possessed by the candidate.

Computer knowledge including open source software such as Open Office in relevant areas and fluency in
English is required for the posts listed. - सीिी भिी के पदों के हलए, उन व्यक्तियों के संबंि में ऊपरी आयु सीमा में पचास वर्ष की आयु िक छू ट दी जाएगी, हजन्ोंने आईआईटी
मंडी में अनुबंि /आउटसोसष / िदिष/अस्थायी/ पररयोजनाओं के आिार पर कम से कम िीन वर्ष की सेवा प्रदान की िै और जो
शैहक्षक रूप से योग्य िैं। उनका प्रदशषन अच्छा िोना चाहिए और उनके हवरुद्ध कोई अनुशासनिीनिा या हवत्तीय/प्रशासहनक
अहनयहमििा संबंिी हशकायि निीं िोनी चाहिए। ऐसे उम्मीदवारों को आईआईटी मंडी में अपनी प्रदान की गई सेवा का अनुभव प्रमाण
पत्र जमा करना िोगा।
For direct recruitment posts, the upper age limit shall be relaxable up to fifty years of age in respect of the
persons who has rendered minimum of three years’ service/deployment at IIT Mandi on contract/
outsourced/adhoc/ temporary/ projects and who are educationally qualified. Their performance must be good
and there should be no indiscipline or complaints regarding Financial/Administrative irregularities against

The experience required for a given job includes experience gained in government offices, autonomous
institutions and corporate sector. - हवशेष विम के उम्मीदवार ं के हलए छू ट तभी प्रदान की जाएिी जब वि पद हवशेष विम के उम्मीदवार ं के हलए आरहक्षत ि िा । 05 वषम
की छू ट अनुसूहचत जाहत/अनुसूहचत जनजाहत तिा 03 वषम की छू ट अन्य हपछड़ा विम (NCL) के उम्मीदवार ं क प्रदान की जाएिी ।
हदव्ांि एवं भूतपूवम सेना कममचारी/ अहर्काररय ं क भी आयु में हनयमानुसार छू ट प्रदान की जाएिी । भा. प्रौ. सं. के हनयहमत कममचाररय ं

Applicable relaxation for reserved category candidates is applicable only if the post is reserved for a particular
category, 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL). Age relaxation to PwD candidates & Ex-servicemen are
as per rules. For regular employees of IITs who are educationally qualified can be considered for direct

Candidates seeking reservation benefits available for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwD must be in possession of the
valid certificates in the format prescribed by DoPT, Govt. of India in support of their claim at the time of
application. For availing the benefit of OBC (NCL)/ EWS category candidates in particular shall ensure that they
