NOTICE FOR MBBS HOUSESTAFFSHIP SELECTION
Applications are hereby invited for stipendiary House-staff ship (Junior Resident) at Maharaja Jitendra Narayan Medical College & Hospital, Cooch Behar for 53 vacancies vide order no, HF/O/MA/36/4C-04/10, dated 6.01.20211, HF/O MERT/702/W-45/16, dated 26.05.2017 and HF/O MERT/182/24013(15)/10/2018-MERT SEC, dated 14.02.2019.
Selected candidates have to join on 02nd May, 2025 onwards.
Engagement is provisional, confirmation is subject to submission of Internship completion certificate and permanent Medical Registration Certificate of WBMC.
Engagement for the post will be made according to the eligibility of the candidate for the period of 06 (Six) months or as desired by the authority. Preference will be given to the fresh candidates completing Internship from this Institute in the current year as per existing norms.
All applicants have to apply only offline with attached proforma and submit the following documents (self-attested xerox copy) to the office of the undersigned:
a) Madhyamik or equivalent certificate showing date of birth (Age not to exceed 35years as on 31 March, 2025)
b) All Mark sheets of MBBS Examinations.
c) Chance certificate for MBBS examinations.
d) Documents of Honours & Gold Medal (if any).
e) Internship completion certificate or self-declaration in prescribed format.
1) Provisional registration certificate.
g) Permanent Medical Registration Certificate (WBMC or MCI)/ proof of application for permanent registration in State Medical Council or a self-declaration in prescribed format.

- Candidate Reporting date & time-29th April, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.

Candidates have to appear for counseling with all original documents, self-attested Photo copies of all documents and two (02) copies passport size recent colour photographs. After verification only Eligible candidates will be allowed for counseling as per eligibility criteria.
