Recruitment Notice for Faculty Members under Different Departments/Faculties || শিক্ষক পদে নিয়োগ বিজ্ঞপ্তি
Applications are invited from Bangladeshi citizens in the prescribed form for the appointment of teachers for the following posts in this university in the following salary scale and other allowances as per the rules:

Salary
1. Lecturer : Grade 9 of National Pay Scale.
Minimum Qualification Required: Chittagong University Teachers Recruitment
1. Lecturer:
(a) The qualifications of the lecturers employed on temporary basis in various departments of this University will be applicable in the case of appointment as lecturers in their respective departments on permanent basis.
(b) The following are the minimum educational qualifications applicable to the candidates for fresh recruitment to the post of Lecturer:
(1) Minimum qualification applicable to the candidates for fresh recruitment to the post of Lecturer in the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Department of Psychology and Department of Physics :
Old System (Class Based Result) In case of passed candidates should have Honors and Masters degree in any 03 (three) level of education including first division/class in related subject. At least 55% marks in the level not having 1st division/class.
In the case of candidates who have passed the grading system, SSC / Equivalent and H. S. C. / Equivalence test answer with a minimum G.P.A. Must be 3.00 . Minimum CGP A/ GPA in case of candidates passed in old grading system for Honors and Master’s degree in relevant subject . One should have 3.70 and the other 3.60 . Honors and Master’s degree in the relevant subject in the case of candidates who have passed the current uniform grading system with a minimum of GPA / CGPA in the answer . Must have 3.60 .
(2) Minimum qualification applicable to the candidates for completely fresh appointment as lecturers in Department of Sociology and Department of Communication and Journalism :
In case of candidates passed in old system (class wise result) in any 03 (three) levels of education, Honors in related subjects including first division/class and Must have master’s degree. At least 55% marks in the level not having 1st division/class.
Minimum G.P.A in both SSC /Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examinations in case of candidates passed by grading system . Must be 3.00 . Minimum CGP A/ GP in case of candidates passed in Old Grading System in Honors and Masters Degree in relevant subject.A. One should have 3.65 and the other 3.50 . A minimum G.P.A./C.G.P.A in Honors and Master’s degree in the relevant subject in case of candidates who have passed the uniform grading system currently in practice . 3.60 and minimum G.P.A./C.G.P.A in the other . Must be 3.50 .
(3) Eligibility applicable to candidates for fresh recruitment to the post of Lecturer (English/Language & Linguistics subject) in Institute of Modern Languages:
S.Sc./Equivalent & H.Sc../Equivalent Examination with First Division in both and Honors and Masters Degree in English subject with minimum 55% marks in either and Second Class with minimum 50% marks in the other. Minimum GPA in each of the SSC /Equivalent and HSC /Equivalent Examinations separately for the candidates passed in grading system . 3.00 or the total GPA of the two examinations.
Must have a minimum of 7.00 . A minimum of CGP A/ GPA in any of the two degrees in the case of candidates who have passed in the old grading system and in the present uniform grading system for Honors and Master’s degrees in English . 3.30 and in anotherMust have CGP A/ GPA 3.25 .
The proforma of prescribed application form and list of publications can be collected by personally contacting the Registrar’s office or downloading from Chittagong University website https://cu.ac.bd/forms.php .
500/- (Five Hundred) Bank Draft payable on Agrani Bank Ltd. / Janata Bank Ltd., Chittagong University Branch, Chittagong in favor of Registrar, Chittagong University from any branch of Agrani Bank Ltd./Janata Bank Ltd. Hall Pay-Order from the Chittagong University Branch of the said two banks), 3(three) copies of recent passport size attested photographs of the candidate along with the original set of application form and attested copies of all educational qualifications, experience and National Identity Card/Citizenship Certificate along with mark sheets/transcripts each of the application form.
To be added to the set 6 (six) sets of applications for the post of Lecturer should reach the Office of the Registrar during office hours by 22/05/2023.
Application received with bank draft/pay order to any bank other than SKI or other than above, application not fulfilling the conditions of notification, application submitted by the candidate who appeared in the required degree examination as per notified qualification, application received after the prescribed last date and by post/courier service Any application sent through etc. will be treated as canceled immediately if it is not received within the prescribed last date.
If appointed to the said post, the concerned teacher must serve for the next 2 (two) years after first joining this university and must give an undertaking to this effect at the time of joining. No other job application of the concerned teacher shall be forwarded to any other institution during the said period.
Employed candidates must apply through appropriate authority. In special cases one complete set of application should be processed/sent through the appropriate authority and prescribed number of application sets (including bank draft and all related documents) should reach the Registrar’s office by the prescribed last date as advance copies. LPC of an organization in determining the monthly basic salary of the selected candidates . will not be accepted.

১। প্রভাষক:
(ক) এ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিভিন্ন বিভাগে অস্থায়ী ভিত্তিতে নিয়োজিত প্রভাষকবৃন্দ স্ব স্ব বিভাগে প্রভাষক পদে স্থায়ী ভিত্তিতে নিয়োগের ক্ষেত্রে তাঁদের প্রভাষক পদে যোগদানকালীন সময়ের যোগ্যতা প্রযোজ্য হবে।
(খ) প্রভাষক পদে সম্পূর্ণ নতুনভাবে নিয়োগের জন্য প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য ন্যূনতম শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা নিম্নরূপ:
(১) জেনেটিক ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং এন্ড বায়োটেকনোলজি বিভাগ, মনোবিজ্ঞান বিভাগ ও পদার্থবিদ্যা বিভাগে প্রভাষক পদে সম্পূর্ণ নতুনভাবে নিয়োগের জন্য প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য ন্যূনতম যোগ্যতা :
পুরনো পদ্ধতিতে (শ্রেণি ভিত্তিক ফলাফলে) উত্তীর্ণ প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে শিক্ষা জীবনের যে কোনো ০৩ (তিন) টি স্তরে প্রথম বিভাগ/শ্রেনিসহ সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়ে অনার্স ও মাস্টার্স ডিগ্রি থাকতে হবে। যে স্তরে ১ম বিভাগ/শ্রেণি থাকবে না সে স্তরে কমপক্ষে ৫৫% মার্কস থাকতে হবে।
গ্রেডিং পদ্ধতিতে উত্তীর্ণ প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে এস.এস.সি / সমমান ও এইচ. এস. সি. / সমমান পরীক্ষায় উত্তরটিতে ন্যূনতম জি.পি.এ. ৩.০০ থাকতে হবে। সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়ে অনার্স ও মাস্টার্স ডিগ্রিতে পুরনো গ্রেডিং পদ্ধতিতে উত্তীর্ণ প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে ন্যূনতম সি.জি.পি.এ./ জি.পি.এ. একটিতে ৩.৭০ ও অন্যটিতে ৩.৬০ থাকতে হবে। বর্তমানে প্রচলিত অভিন্ন গ্রেডিং পদ্ধতিতে উত্তীর্ণ প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়ে অনার্স ও মাস্টার্স ডিগ্রি উত্তরটিতে ন্যূনতম জি.পি.এ./সি.জি.পি.এ. ৩.৬০ থাকতে হবে।
(২) সমাজতত্ত্ব বিভাগ এবং যোগাযোগ ও সাংবাদিকতা বিভাগের প্রভাষক পদে সম্পূর্ণ নতুনভাবে নিয়োগের জন্য প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য ন্যূনতম যোগ্যতা :
পুরনো পদ্ধতিতে (শ্রেণি ভিত্তিক ফলাফলে) উত্তীর্ণ প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে শিক্ষা জীবনের যে কোনো ০৩(তিন) টি স্তরে প্রথম বিভাগ/শ্রেণিসহ সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়ে অনার্স ও মাস্টার্স ডিগ্রি থাকতে হবে। যে স্তরে ১ম বিভাগ/শ্রেণি থাকবে না সে স্তরে কমপক্ষে ৫৫% মার্কস থাকতে হবে।
গ্রেডিং পদ্ধতিতে উত্তীর্ণ প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে এস.এস.সি./সমমান ও এইচ.এস.সি./সমমান পরীক্ষায় উভয়টিতে ন্যূনতম জি.পি.এ. ৩.০০ থাকতে হবে। সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়ে অনার্স ও মাস্টার্স ডিগ্রিতে পুরনো গ্রেডিং পদ্ধতিতে উত্তীর্ণ প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে ন্যূনতম সি.জি.পি.এ./ জি.পি.এ. একটিতে ৩.৬৫ ও অন্যটিতে ৩.৫০ থাকতে হবে। বর্তমানে প্রচলিত অভিন্ন গ্রেডিং পদ্ধতিতে উত্তীর্ণ প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়ে অনার্স ও মাস্টার্স ডিগ্রি একটিতে ন্যূনতম জি.পি.এ./সি.জি.পি.এ. ৩.৬০ ও অন্যটিতে ন্যূনতম জি.পি.এ./সি.জি.পি.এ. ৩.৫০ থাকতে হবে।
(৩) আধুনিক ভাষা ইনস্টিটিউটের প্রভাষক (ইংরেজি/ভাষা ও ভাষাবিজ্ঞান বিষয়) পদে সম্পূর্ণ নতুনভাবে নিয়োগের জন্যে প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য যোগ্যতা :
পুরনো পদ্ধতিতে (শ্রেণি ভিত্তিক ফলাফলে) উত্তীর্ণ প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে এস.এস.সি./সমমান ও এইচ.এস.সি./সমমান পরীক্ষায় উভয়টিতে প্রথম বিভাগ এবং ইংরেজি বিষয়ে অনার্স ও মাস্টার্স ডিগ্রির যে কোন একটিতে ন্যূনতম ৫৫% মাকর্স ও অন্যটিতে ন্যূনতম ৫০% মার্কসসহ দ্বিতীয় শ্রেণি থাকতে হবে।
গ্রেডিং পদ্ধতিতে উত্তীর্ণ প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে এস.এস.সি./সমমান ও এইচ.এস.সি./সমমান পরীক্ষায় প্রত্যেকটিতে আলাদা আলাদাভাবে ন্যূনতম জি.পি.এ. ৩.০০ অথবা উক্ত দু’টি পরীক্ষার মোট জি.পি.এ. ন্যূনতম ৭.০০ থাকতে হবে। ইংরেজি বিষয়ে অনার্স ও মাস্টার্স ডিগ্রিতে পুরনো গ্রেডিং পদ্ধতিতে এবং বর্তমানে প্রচলিত অভিন্ন গ্রেডিং পদ্ধতিতে উত্তীর্ণ প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে উক্ত দুটি ডিগ্রির যে কোন একটিতে ন্যূনতম সি.জি.পি.এ./ জি.পি.এ. ৩.৩০ ও অন্যটিতে সি.জি.পি.এ/জি.পি.এ ৩.২৫ থাকতে হবে।
ব্যক্তিগতভাবে যোগাযোগ করে রেজিস্ট্রার অফিস হতে অথবা চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ওয়েব সাইট https://cu.ac.bd/forms.php হতে Download করে দরখাঙ্কের নির্ধারিত ফরম ও প্রকাশনার তালিকার প্রোফর্মা সংগ্রহ করা যাবে।
অগ্রণী ব্যাংক লি: /জনতা ব্যাংক লিঃ-এর যে কোনো শাখা হতে রেজিস্ট্রার, চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এর অনুকূলে অগ্রণী ব্যাংক লিঃ/জনতা ব্যাংক লি:, চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় শাখা, চট্টগ্রাম এর উপর প্রদেয় দরখাস্ত ফি বাবদ ৫০০/- (পাঁচশত) টাকার ব্যাংক ড্রাফট (উক্ত দু’টি ব্যাংকের চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় শাখা থেকে হলে পে-অর্ডার), প্রার্থীর সাম্প্রতিক তোলা পাসপোর্ট সাইজের ৩(তিন) কপি সত্যায়িত ফটো দরখাঙ্কের মূল সেটের সাথে এবং মার্ক্সসীট/ট্রান্সক্রিন্টসহ সকল শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা, অভিজ্ঞতা ও জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র / নাগরিকত্বের সার্টিফিকেটের সত্যায়িত কপি দরখাস্তের প্রত্যেক সেটের সাথে সংযোজন করতে হবে।
প্রভাষক পদের জন্য ৬(ছয়) সেট দরখাস্ত আগামী ২২/০৫/২০২৩ খ্রিস্টাব্দ তারিখ পর্যন্ত অফিস চলাকালীন সময়ে রেজিস্ট্রার অফিসে পৌঁছাতে হবে।
স্কি ব্যতিরেকে কিংবা উপরে বর্ণিত ব্যাংক ব্যতীত অন্য কোনো ব্যাংকে দেয় ব্যাংক ড্রাফট/পে-অর্ডারসহ প্রাপ্ত দরখাস্ত, বিজ্ঞপ্তির শর্ত পূরণ না করলে সে দরখাস্ত, বিজ্ঞাপিত যোগ্যতা অনুযায়ী প্রয়োজনীয় ডিগ্রির পরীক্ষায় appeared প্রার্থীর পেশকৃত দরখাস্ত, নির্ধারিত শেষ তারিখের পরে প্রাপ্ত দরখাস্ত ও ডাকযোগে/কুরিয়ার সার্ভিস ইত্যাদির মাধ্যমে প্রেরিত কোনো দরখাস্ত নির্ধারিত শেষ তারিখের মধ্যে পাওয়া না গেলে সে দরখাস্ত সরাসরি বাতিল বলে গণ্য হবে।
উক্ত পদে নিয়োগ পেলে সংশ্লিষ্ট শিক্ষককে এ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে প্রথম যোগদানের পর পরবর্তী ২ (দুই) বছর চাকরি করতে হবে এবং যোগদানের সময় এ মর্মে একটি অংগীকার প্রদান করতে হবে।
উক্ত সময়ের মধ্যে সংশ্লিষ্ট শিক্ষকের অন্য কোনো চাকরির আবেদন অন্য কোন প্রতিষ্ঠানে ফরোয়ার্ড করা হবে না।
চাকরিরত প্রার্থীগণকে অবশ্যই যথাযথ কর্তৃপক্ষের মাধ্যমে আবেদন করতে হবে। বিশেষ ক্ষেত্রে অতিরিক্ত পরিপূর্ণ এক সেট দরখাস্ত যথাযথ কর্তৃপক্ষের মাধ্যমে প্রক্রিয়া / প্রেরণ করে নির্ধারিত সংখ্যক দরখাস্তের সেট (ব্যাংক ড্রাফট ও সংশ্লিষ্ট সকল কাগজপত্রসহ) অগ্রিম কপি হিসেবে নির্ধারিত শেষ তারিখে মধ্যে রেজিস্ট্রার অফিসে পৌঁছাতে হবে।
নির্বাচিত প্রার্থীগণের মাসিক মূল বেতন নির্ধারণের ক্ষেত্রে কোনো প্রতিষ্ঠানের এল.পি.সি. গ্রহণ করা হবে না।
