The Examination Section of Central Sanskrit University is assigned to execute a project on प्राचीनभारतीयशिक्षायां मूल्याङ्कनपद्धतयः (Evaluation Methods in Ancient Indian Education).

The Examination Section will complete the project to explore the Evaluation Methods in Ancient Indian Education in the light of the recommendations of NEP 2020.

For this project, applications are invited for the posts of Two Post-Doctoral Fellowship.

The fellowship is initially sanctioned for the duration of 12 months which is purely temporary and may be extended for another year based on performance and the availability of funds.

About the Project

As mentioned, the project focuses on exploring the concepts and methods of evaluation of the Ancient Indian Education in the light of NEP 2020. The project will focus on the intense study of Bharatiya Shastras, particularly Sanskrit Shastras. The project also requires the study of Indian Philosophies, Indian Psychology etc. for keen exploring the evaluation methods with contextual implications.

The project may also involve experimental/practical work on the findings.

The project will be operated in Delhi and PDF will be expected to study of Sanskrit literature from an academic point of view and may be assigned for experimental studies.

Books related to Indian Psychology, i.e., Indian Psychology: Cognition and Perception by Dr. Jadunath Sinha, Hindu Psychology Source Book of Ancient Indian Psychology by Kuppuswamy etc.

At any stage, the process of the selection for PDF can be modified or terminated by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi.

The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor reserves rights to amend, to expand or to terminate the project at any stage without mentioning the reasons.

In case of any discrepancy in all process of this project (Notification, Selection, Execution etc.) the decision of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Central Sanskrit University shall be final.

All legal disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi.

Only short-listed candidates will be notified through email for interview (Online/Offline).

No TA/DA will be paid if called for the interview (Offline).

If selected, At the time of the joining, the candidates are required to submit a set of copies of the concerned document and to present original documents for verification of the same.
