Applications are invited from eligible honafide Indian citizens through off-line mode for temporary contractual engagement to the post of 10 (Ten) part-time Guest Teachers as stated below, at Ekalavya Model Residential School (English medium school), Birbhum, Village + P.O. Kankutia, P.S- Bolpur, Dist-Birbhum run by Paschim Banga Adibasi Kalyan-O-Siksha Parishad (PBAKOSP), a registered society under overall control of the Tribal Development Department, Govt. Of West Bengal. Engagement will be made on purely temporary basis for 1 (One) year.

The contractual period may be increased further at the discretion of PBAKOSP, Birbhum district committee.

As per approval of the District Committee of Paschim Banga Adibasi Kalyan-O-Siksha Parishad (PBAKOSP), the qualification and method of engagement of Guest Teachers under the Eklavya Model Residential School, Bolpur, Birbhum, are as follows:-

1. Engagement: All engagement are to be made on the basis of academic qualifications, written examination and interview to be conducted by the Appointing Authority. Preference will be given to local residents. . Age Limits: Maximum age limit not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2025. Provided that in case of Scheduled

    2. Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes, there shall be relaxation in upper age limit as per State Government norms.

    3. All appointments shall be temporary for a period of one year and such engagement shall not be entertained to permanent post in future.

    4. Medical Fitness: No person shall be appointed to any post without medical certificate of fitness being granted by a Registered Medical Practitioner or as the Appointing Authority may approve.

      5. Prescribed application form for the above mentioned posts can be downloaded from the website www.birbhum.gov.in.

      6. Intending candidates will have to submit applications along with relevant documents in a sealed envelope in the drop box kept at the office of the Project Officer-cum-District Welfare Officer, Backward Classes Welfare & Tribal Development, Administrative Building, 2nd Floor Room No. 301, Suri, Birbhum, Pin-731101 on all working days from 10.03.2025 to 21.03.2025 (up to 5 P.M.).

      7. Following self-attested documents should be enclosed along with the Application Form:

        (a) Age Proof (Admit Card or Certificate of 10 Standard recognised Board Examination approved by Govt.).

          b) Residential Proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter Card etc.).

          (c) Mark Sheets in support of Educational Qualifications(Both sides) up to the Highest Qualification.

          8. Candidates are requested to visit the district website (www.birbhum.gov.in) regularly for any subsequent information/updation in this matter.

            (d) Two self addressed envelopes and two copy of recent color photographs.

            9. Only the top twenty (20) candidates on the basis of written examination marks will be called for interview. Except those candidates, no other applicant will be communicated. Interview will be conducted by the District Level Selection Committee, Birbhum. Selection will be made on the basis of total marks of written examination and performance in interview,

            10. District Committee of Paschim Banga Adibasi Kalyan-O-Siksha Parshad (PBAKOSP), Birbhum reserves the right for rejection on any application, not duly filled in or received after due date & time etc. It also reserves the right to cancel/postpone/suspend any engagement to any aforesaid position at any point of time.

              11 . Candidature of any candidate shall be rejected straightway if not found eligible at any stage even after appearance

              12 in Interview. . No T.A/D.A. will be given for appearing in the written examination and for Interview.

              13 . Removal: Authority have the right to remove any engaged guest teacher from his/her service at any time on the basis of misconduct, negligence of duty, unauthorized absence or any other valid ground.
